In the year 1565 the San Juan whaleship
sank in Canadian waters.
In 1978 the ship was found and the Canadian institutions made an exemplary research.
Now, with your help,
we have the opportunity to rebuild it.
We have now built
70%

Albaola is a nonprofit cultural association that was created to recover maritime culture and spread its knowledge. At present we are making a big dream come true: the building of the San Juan whaleship.
Our projects are open and based on co-operation. They couldn’t become a reality without the financial collaboration of our supporters. All the pieces together, from the smallest to the largest, give us the strength and drive to keep working towards our aim and dream of keeping the maritime world alive and open to all.
